Our first expedition as the BAQE crew saw us hit the road in the CEO’s 2006 Landrover Defender. Crammed in like sardines, with
our creative director taking the best seat in the house (lying on top of the kit, in the back), 11 hours became 12, became 13.
It sure was a longer drive than anticipated (blame the Defender!). But all worth it. Uganda ROCKS when it comes to basketball. We LOVED being
at the heart of a dynamic, well-organised university tournament and we’ve since been back loads of times, covering the
different leagues and tournaments and shooting loads of profiles on some of East Africa’s most dynamic players and teams.
