Xcel Basketball Camp-Uganda

Ugandan basketball has been growing in leap and bound thanks to the massive investments channeled to the sport in identifying and nurturing young talent. BAQE featured Xcel Baskteball Camp, which is an initiative organised by PAMOJA AFRIQ to not only nurture talent but also equip Ugandan kids (5-14 years) with life skills. Initially the camp targeted street children but it has now expanded admitting kids from all walks of life.

BAQE host Silalei spent time with the children in Kampala, mentored and donated some tshirts to them. If African Basketball is to grow further then more African countries need to invest in such initiatives.
